Meet our People of Solita. We have over 1600 employees in different locations with different skills and backgrounds – each with a story to share about what they do and what inspires them. This is Abir, our Account Executive in Denmark.  

The complexity and variety of my job inspire me.

I’ve worked as an Account Executive since October 2022, when I re-joined the company after a three-year adventure in another consulting firm. I used to work here for five years before trying something different, but many reasons attracted me back.

The primary reasons for returning were the projects, my colleagues, and how we work and solve problems here. I like our ways of working; we are a flat organization that allows us to make fast decisions and execute them immediately. We have this saying in Denmark that “we ride the same day as we saddle up” – it applies to our culture.

I help our financial sector customers to use technology to meet their business needs

I’m responsible for our financial sector customers. I enjoy that every customer’s needs are unique. While there are similarities, my role is to understand the unique needs and business challenges and help translate them into technological solutions. I help in innovating and transforming their business.

The financial sector holds significant importance for society at various levels: economic growth, economic infrastructure, payment systems, and risk management, to mention a few.

In an era of rapid digital transformation, the financial sector is grappling with the need to adapt to new technologies while ensuring regulatory compliance and data security. As a trusted partner, we help our customers navigate these challenges by providing expert guidance on digitalization strategies that align with industry regulations and best practices. Our services are designed to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and improve customer experiences, all while maintaining the highest standards of security.

Furthermore, the financial sector operates in a highly competitive landscape where agility and innovation are crucial for success. We pride ourselves on our ability to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends. By leveraging our deep domain expertise and technical prowess, we help our customers stay ahead of the competition. Our culture is flat and flexible

We are a flat company, so we talk to each other, and the communication works well. Everyone respects each other, and we are encouraged to speak our minds. We are easygoing and straightforward at the office and enjoy each other’s company during coffee breaks. We are generally open and inclusive people with a sense of humor, so getting along with colleagues is quite easy.

People who generally match well with our culture are self-driven and open to change. They can also think out of the box and connect the dots to find solutions to problems. We are fast and efficient in our decision-making and execution, and we are not hindered by processes. We build our processes and structures in a way that fits us and makes sense for our ways of working. I appreciate that a lot.

Flexibility at work helps a lot; I can plan my days and schedules independently. Sometimes I leave early and finish something later in the evening or get up early in the morning to have the necessary focus time. That works for me; having a fixed 9-5 schedule would not serve me in my current situation. We are all people here with lives, and the company gets that.
