Open position

Junior Business Controller (Part-time, 50%)

We are looking for a Junior Business Controller to join our finance team in a part-time (50%) position. This is an opportunity to learn business controlling from the ground up while contributing to real financial operations in a growing tech company.

As a Junior Business Controller, you'll be an integral part of our finance team. This is an entry-level position designed for an ambitious person early in their career who, for example, wishes to combine studies with practical finance experience.

We're data-driven at our core, which is why business control isn't just a support function – it's central to how we make decisions and drive growth.

What you'll be doing

Your work will span across different areas, such as:

  • Month-end close: Review accounts, validate supplier invoices, control costs against budget, support monthly reporting
  • Financial analysis: Conduct ad-hoc analyses vs. budget, prepare profitability reports, support accounts receivable collection
  • Budget support: Assist in annual budgeting process and analysis
  • Operations: Support regulatory reporting, finance tools and systems, and collaborate with accounting team and business stakeholders

You'll interact regularly with business unit leads, sales teams, project managers, and the admin team – giving you a broad understanding of how finance connects to the entire business.

You will be based in our Stockholm office and primarily on-site to ensure you get proper guidance, build relationships with stakeholders, and develop a strong foundation. We'll provide the structure and mentorship you need to grow from guided work toward greater independence.

What you bring

  • Post-secondary education in finance, business administration, economics, or related field
  • At least 1-2 years of work experience in administrative or finance-related roles
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with digital tools such as Teams, Slack, Workday, or ERP systems (Fortnox, SAP) is nice to have, but not required
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

You have a natural aptitude for mathematics and analytical thinking – the kind of person who spots patterns, thinks logically, and can anticipate what comes next. You're ambitious and take initiative, combining pragmatism with curiosity to understand business needs. Solution-oriented and humble, you're ready to roll up your sleeves and contribute wherever needed.
