Solita is opening a new office in Malmö in May and continues to grow steadily in the Öresund region in Sweden and Denmark. Less than hour away from Malmö in Copenhagen, Solita already employs 150 IT professionals. Altogether in Sweden, Solita now has 200 data, design, cloud, and software development professionals.

The new Malmö office is located in the beautiful Västra Hamnen district, and it will initially employ 15 new professionals. However, Solita aims to increase its personnel to at least 20 employees by the end of the year.

“We are proud and happy about our growth in Sweden. The new office in Malmö strengthens our foothold in the entire Öresund region. Our office in Denmark is also growing rapidly and we have great potential on both sides of the Oresund Bridge. That will undoubtedly bring us synergies. It also strengthens us as an employer and improves our ability to serve our customers in helping our customers to build smarter societies and better business by combining tech with data analysis and business understanding”, said Johan Thyblad, CEO of Solita Sweden. In addition to Malmö, Solita has offices in Stockholm and Gothenburg.

With over 1,700 IT professionals specialising in strategic consulting, service design, software development, data analytics and AI, as well as cloud and connectivity services, Solita currently operates in six countries, with 20 offices in total. Its Swedish clientele includes Fortum, Skanska, Skandia and Allmännyttan, and in Denmark, the company works with clients such as Synoptik, Nordisk Film, XL-BYG and Vestas.
