Contract won for an IT solution for reporting incidents and accidents on the Danish railways

Commentor – A Solita Company has been chosen as the preferred supplier of an IT solution that will be built to support the work of railway companies and the Danish Transport Authority in collecting, validating and reporting incidents and accidents and precursors to incidents and accidents on the railway, commonly referred to as the “Incident Database”.

The delivery will replace an older solution and support the Danish Transport Authority in working with a software solution that is up-to-date and easy to use.

A future-proof solution

Sales Director, Lise Bach Vestergaard, is proud that Solita has been selected as the winner of such a vital project.

“We are looking forward to being responsible for the development of an intuitive and future-proof solution that can be further developed and customised with limited resource consumption for many years to come.”

Commentor will deliver a solution that meets a number of specialised requirements with a focus on high user-friendliness, a fixed price and a tight schedule.

Easier to report incidents

Deputy Director General of the Danish Transport Authority, Christian Vesterager:

“It has been an intense tendering phase with several qualified bids for an up-to-date solution that ensures that it becomes more simple, automatic and efficient for both the railway companies and the Danish Transport Authority to manage data on incidents and accidents. In choosing Commentor, we have prioritized a supplier whose project approach and solution reassure us that the software company can deliver a well-tested and quality-assured solution within a short timeframe.”
