About the Role
As the SVP Sales – Gothenburg, you will expand Solita's business through new sales and strategic customer growth. You will develop and execute a growth strategy to identify and drive new business opportunities with both existing and new customers. The role is not only strategic but also tactical and operational, your responsibilities include actively engaging with customers on different levels of companies to understand their needs and translate this to sales opportunities and lead sales process to ensure success.
To ensure the foundation for succeeding in the role you will be member of the Solita Sweden leadership team and by this be part of driving the overall Solita Sweden strategic agenda at the same time being the voice of our Gothenburg business and colleagues. You will be responsible for ensuring high employee engagement in Gothenburg and as Solita values a culture of collaboration and shared values and hope you do too. In summary the main work areas and tasks are:
- Grow the Solita Gothenburg business through new sales and account management of strategic customer and securing the first deal/s for Gothenburg within the first three months
- Managing profit & loss responsibilities, cost center ownership, and leading virtual teams across geographies and business units
- Build a strong relationship with both consultants and business stakeholders at our strategic customers to ensure customer satisfaction with our deliveries and growth across our four business units.
- Promoting open communication and high employee engagement in Gothenburg, while representing the Gothenburg office in the leadership team
Skills that we would like for you to have in this role:
- Passion for sales and energized by leading and closing business deals.
- Understanding of the consulting market in Gothenburg and its surroundings.
- Great customer network in the area.
- Motivation to generate leads and close deals, understanding that some deals may take longer to close.
- Excellent networking skills and ability to connect with the right people.
- Solid experience in selling consultancy and software solutions, and sensemaking for change to achieve business value.
- Commercially savvy to handle negotiations and contract management.
- Problem-solving mindset and openness to go outside of core responsibilities to ensure customer growth and satisfaction.
- Effective communication skills in English and Swedish.
- Ability to establish trust, form and maintain strong relationships, and work with a human-centric approach.
