As our business is constantly growing, we are now recruiting new team members to our Intelligent Devices team that focuses on working on projects around IoT and Edge Computing. This team delivers various software solutions for our clients in industrial domain by creating solutions for intelligent devices such as drones, forest machinery and other industrial solutions. We are currently looking for experienced Software Developers to join our team in Helsinki, Joensuu, Jyväskylä, Kuopio, Lahti, Oulu, Pori, Tampere, Turku, Vaasa or remotely in Finland.
Your role in a nutshell
In this role, you will design, develop, and implement secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions for our industrial customers, working at the intersection of Edge Computing and Industrial IoT. You will help translate customer needs into practical technical solutions and provide hands-on expertise throughout the project lifecycle—from early problem definition to implementation and continuous improvement.
As an experienced developer, you take ownership of technical design at the project level and guide architectural decisions that ensure high-quality, reliable delivery. You work closely with customers and teams, combining strong technical skills with a consultative approach to ensure solutions meet both business and technical goals.
Depending on your experience and interests, your role may also include:
- Leading the technical direction of projects and influencing architecture choices
- Mentoring other developers and supporting team growth
- Shaping development practices and ensuring high engineering standards
- Contributing to recruitment and development of our offerings
- Identifying new opportunities within customer environments and supporting sales work
The role can be tailored based on your background: there may be different emphases in responsibilities, and expectations evolve with your experience.
We will define the exact scope and focus areas of your role based on your experience, skills, and interests. Based on this, your monthly salary in this role will be between 5200-6200€ / month. Our compensation model is based on a fixed monthly salary, which we use to encourage collaboration and the sharing of expertise.
We expect you to have
- Several years of relevant experience in software development, with deep expertise in at least one of the following technologies: Java/Kotlin, C#, TypeScript, Python, or Go
- Previous experience in industrial domain IoT or Edge Computing software development projects
- Experience designing and building secure, scalable, and maintainable software systems
- Strong experience with public cloud platforms, such as Azure or AWS
- Ability to take ownership of technical design and make architecture-level decisions in projects
- Experience working in close collaboration with customers and translating business needs into technical solutions
- Interest or experience in mentoring others and contributing to team ways of working
In addition, we value:
- Experience with Azure IoT Hub, AWS IoT Core, or AWS IoT Greengrass
- An interest in the opportunities enabled by artificial intelligence, and prior experience utilizing AI either in a professional context or in personal projects
- A proactive mindset in identifying business opportunities and contributing to customer value
