Senior Analytics Consultant (Power BI & Tableau)
What’s the role about?
In this role, you’ll be part of an agile project team helping our customers turn data into clear, impactful insights using Power BI or Tableau. You’ll work hands-on with data modeling and visualization, designing and building efficient data models, and crafting the necessary calculations to support effective business decisions.
This role is all about making data understandable and useful. Whether you're shaping dashboards, supporting decision-making, or helping define what kind of visualizations best fit the problem—we're looking for someone who gets the big picture and isn’t afraid to dive into the details.
Your toolbox likely includes:
- Power BI or Tableau
- SQL
- DAX
- Fabric
What helps you succeed in this role?
- You’re an experienced data professional, comfortable working across the full lifecycle of data visualization tools—from planning to building to training end users.
- You know how to help clients choose the right tools, define their needs, and bring their vision to life.
- You listen well and communicate clearly—consulting, facilitating, and presenting are all natural parts of your work.
- Experience managing and maintaining BI environments is a plus, as some of our clients rely on us for that ongoing support.
- You understand what a data platform is and have worked with one before—you’ll be working closely with one here.
An example project
We believe in doing things with our clients, not for them. At Solita, you’ll have real influence on the outcome of your projects and get to create solutions that make a difference.
For example, we helped improve the efficiency and punctuality of metro traffic in the Helsinki region by implementing a real-time analytics solution for Kaupunkiliikenne Oy. With Microsoft Azure and Power BI, we built tools for traffic controllers to monitor train punctuality at every station and along each route segment—making public transport work better for everyone.

Meaningful benefits – Choose your own tools, enjoy extensive occupational healthcare, benefit from our bike program, get support from our in-house coaches, or recharge with one of our many hobby clubs.
No billing pressure – We offer a fixed monthly salary with no billing-based bonus model. Our focus is on collaboration, not competition.
