The award was given for long-term work on building a psychologically safe environment that supports employee well-being and work-life balance.
“As it was stated by the jury, a human-centric community is built on creating both a healthy business and psychological safety, which enables the dialog also on difficult topics and the possibility to disagree. At Solita we are not promising the employees the moon from the sky, but really try to live up to our values every day. We know we are not ready, and that is also really much in the heart of human-centricity: Accepting the incompleteness”, commented Outi Sivonen, CHRO at Solita.
Solita is known for its people-centric, open company culture. The company has been committed to building the company culture and employee well-being since it was founded in 1996. Currently Solita has a high employee satisfaction in the top 5 percent of the tech industry in Europe according to Peakon Employee Voice Engagement Survey.
”This award is also a recognition of the choices and efforts we make for our work community, but also a reward for all Solitans who work together, every day, to make Solita a good place to work.”, said Terhi Jaakonsaari, Director of People & Culture in Finland.
In addition to Solita, the other top 10 finalists were: Visma Real Estate, DNA, Medikumppani, Saranen, Kuusakoski, Tunne Hoiva, Talgraf, Fondia and Red Cross Blood Services.
The competition is organised annually by Hälsa. The event gala was organised in Helsinki on November 16, 2023.
