Solita was ranked among the top 30 most attractive employers in Finland by university students and early-career professionals, placing 26th in this year’s Academic Work Young Professional Attraction Index (YPAI) survey. The survey’s top 10 employers this year were Supercell, KONE, NVIDIA, Google, ICEYE, Patria, Apple, Vaisala, Wärtsilä, and Oura.

The Young Professional Attraction Index survey examines the views of early-career talent on working life and employers, offering a broad and independent snapshot of the expectations of highly educated early-career talent in Finland. The survey is conducted in cooperation with research company Kantar. In 2026, the survey had 4,699 respondents in Finland, and more than 13,000 respondents internationally in 2025. This year also marks the 10th anniversary of the research.

International growth and meaningful work with AI

“We are happy to be recognised as a great place to work. Solita has long invested in building a workplace where people genuinely care about one another, stay curious, and have the freedom to grow,” said Timo Honko, Country Lead for Finland at Solita. “In the age of data and AI, more than ever, we need smart, kind people with strong values to use technology in ways that are best for people, companies and societies. Solita has a front-row seat to societal change, and our people are inspired by being able to solve meaningful problems for our customers.”

Solita is growing internationally with the ambition to become Europe’s leading data and AI company, helping customers create value from data, AI and new technologies. The company continues to recruit professionals in cloud, data and AI, integration, software development as well as design & strategy, and today employs more than 2,200 experts in eight countries.

Flexibility is a core part of everyday work at Solita: work can be done at the office or remotely, depending on the needs of the client and their team. In Finland, Solita’s offices are located in the city centres of 10 cities, including Citycenter in Helsinki.

Solita has received recognition for its company culture and for being a great employer several times. Last year Solita was chosen as the 6th best employer in the Universum 2025 study, which surveyed over 6000 professionals of all ages.

About the YPAI survey

Academic Work’s Young Professional Attraction Index (YPAI) survey studies the expectations, preferences and employer perceptions of early-career professionals. The respondents are mainly higher education students and recent graduates with approximately 0–7 years of work experience in their own field. The survey provides an independent overview of what young professionals value in working life and in employers.

The YPAI survey has been conducted in cooperation with Kantar. In 2026, the survey included 4,699 respondents in Finland. Internationally, the survey reached more than 13,000 respondents in 2025. The year 2026 marks the 10th anniversary of the research.
