Solita awarded for Best Service Design, Best Positive Change and Most Accessible Digital Service

Solita, the AI and data transformation company, has won the Best Service Design award in the GrandOne 2026 competition for its work with S-Business Oy to renew the S Purchase Card (S-Ostokortti). In addition, Solita’s work received honorary mentions in the Best Positive Change and Most Accessible Digital Service categories.

This year, Solita’s projects were shortlisted a record-number of six times, competing in five different categories. Solita was also nominated for the Agency of the Year award.

Solita’s work for S Group was recognised with the Best Service Design award and an honorary mention in Best Positive Change. Its work for the Finnish Tax Administration (vero.fi) also received an honorary mention in the Most Accessible Digital Service category.

Reimagining an established service

The jury’s rationale for awarding the Best Service Design to the S Purchase Card (S-Ostokortti):

“The S Purchase Card transforms the entire approach to payment commitments. The traditional paper-based form – visible and easily duplicated – has been replaced with a product-restricted card solution, enabling transactions to be made just like any other card. This reduces the stigma and unwanted attention often associated with purchases at the checkout.”

GrandOne – the leading competition for digital communications

GrandOne is the largest and most prestigious competition for digital media, marketing and service design in Finland. It showcases the very best of Finnish digital expertise across 20 categories. The jury consists of industry experts, and the competition culminates in an annual gala.

This year, 432 entries competed across 20 categories, spanning digital marketing, communications, data and innovation, as well as service design. A total of 214 unique projects were submitted.
