Solita, the data and AI transformation company, has appointed Mikael Hakkarainen as its new Group IT Director. Based in Stockholm, Hakkarainen will serve Solita’s entire group across all operating countries, leading the development of internal IT capabilities that support both people, business and the company’s international growth.
In his new role, Hakkarainen will be responsible for Solita’s group-level IT strategy and operations, with a focus on strengthening business-IT alignment and building scalable, secure, and user-friendly IT services that enable smooth everyday work, support collaboration across borders, and provide a strong foundation for Solita’s long-term growth.
Hakkarainen has strong, hands-on expertise in enterprise IT, cybersecurity, and large-scale transformation in international environments. Prior to Solita, he has led IT transformation work at the growing Swedish retailer Rusta, and worked at Nixu Corporation, focusing on information security management services and cybersecurity compliance.

Hakkarainen’s appointment strengthens Solita’s ability to scale its operations while maintaining high standards of security, reliability, and efficiency across all markets.
