Solita today announced the acquisition of Copenhagen-based AI and data consultancy Heyra. With the acquisition, Solita continues to expand in Denmark and strengthen its position in the Nordic AI market. The move supports the companies’ shared ambition to build a leading European AI and data powerhouse for the next wave of data and AI transformation.

Heyra, a Copenhagen-based AI and data consultancy, was co-founded in 2021 by Luis Werner Grau and David Gabor, and earlier this year merged with Pyne, founded by Michael Skaarup Jørgensen and Rafael Zincke. The founders and Heyra’s team will continue in Solita Group, with Heyra continuing to operate as an independent entity in Copenhagen. Heyra currently employs 50 AI and data specialists.

The acquisition strengthens Solita’s position as a leading European AI and data company and expands its ability to deliver secure, high-impact and European sovereign solutions to customers across the region.

“AI is moving from promise to power. As the world changes and the market matures, customers are looking for partners that can combine speed, scale and deep domain expertise with security and European sovereignty. This continues to drive consolidation across the market”, said Ossi Lindroos, CEO of Solita. “By joining forces with Heyra, an AI-native company built around AI adoption at its core, we are further strengthening our ability to help customers turn AI into real business impact.”

One of Denmark’s fastest-growing AI consultancies

In just a few years, Heyra has established itself as one of Denmark’s fastest-growing AI consultancies, with customers such as Danske Bank, the Novo Nordisk Foundation, Carlsberg, InstallatørGruppen, Pas Normal Studios and Vivino. With deep expertise in operational AI, Heyra enables enterprises to embed AI into everyday operations and create lasting value. Both companies work with leading technology partners, including Databricks, Snowflake and Microsoft.

“Heyra was founded to help clients turn AI and data into real business value. Together with Solita, we can build something bigger: a leading European AI and data company grounded on strong expertise, shared values and client impact”, said Luis Werner Grau, co-founder and CEO of Heyra. “The rapid development of AI and increasing consolidation in the market have opened our perspectives to what we can achieve together – we are excited to build Heyra’s next chapter together with Solita.”

Strengthening Solita’s position in Denmark

Following the acquisition of Heyra, Solita now has more than 300 employees in Denmark across Solita A/S, Intellishore and Heyra. Headquartered in Finland, Solita employs more than 2,200 experts working in technology, data and design across Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, Poland, Switzerland, Germany and the United Kingdom.

“In an impressively short time, Heyra has built a strong AI business with exceptionally skilled employees, supporting some of Denmark’s most prominent companies in their AI transformation. Together, we are strengthening our role as a trusted partner to leading AI players such as Anthropic and Mistral, while expanding our ability to solve complex, high-impact data and AI challenges”, said Peter Barkman, Executive Vice President at Solita.
