The consulting world can be hectic, but we do things differently:
- As an architect, you’ll work on a maximum of two projects at a time. We want you to have the time to do things properly.
- You’ll work as part of an autonomous Solita team. We have a flat hierarchy and some of the strongest peer support in the industry.
- You’ll have a say in the kinds of projects you’re assigned to.
- The architect role here is valued and strategic—you don’t just execute others’ plans, you define the direction you believe in.
- You’ll help build a modern “intelligence platform” that enables the practical use of generative AI across the entire data value chain.
What is the Data Architect role like at Solita?
A Data Architect at Solita is a technical leader, someone who connects business goals, architectural decisions, and high-quality implementation. In this role, you are responsible for designing, guiding, and implementing scalable, secure, and business-driven data architectures.
We offer a clear career path for architects with different levels of experience and responsibility. Do you recognize yourself in one of these?
As a hands-on architect you thrive at the core of the team and take responsibility for the architecture of individual projects, acting as both a technical leader and implementer. You support developers in day-to-day problem solving and aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty with code when needed.
As a leading architect you enjoy working with broader scopes. You take responsibility for the technical direction across multiple teams, define standards, and act as a trusted advisor to client leadership. You mentor others and ensure architectural consistency in large environments.
As a strategic architect you build the future by leading long-term data strategies and reference architectures across units and countries. You act as a thought leader at Solita, lead complex sales initiatives, and shape how better use of data transforms our clients’ businesses globally.
We will discuss the exact scope and focus of your role based on your experience, skills, and interests. Depending on your level of experience and responsibility, your monthly salary will range from 5500 € to 7200 €.
Regardless of your level, your core responsibilities include:
- Designing, leading, and implementing data platforms, pipelines, and models, and translating business requirements into effective solutions
- Supporting development teams, ensuring technical alignment, and contributing to architecture reviews and best practices
- Ensuring solution quality, maintainability, and cost-efficiency, mentoring colleagues, and participating in pre-sales and sales work when needed
What we expect from you:
- Strong experience in Data Architect roles and data architecture design
- Experience with modern data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, Fabric) and development on these platforms
- Strong expertise in data modeling
- Hands-on experience with technologies such as SQL or Python, and the ability to lead by example
- Ability to design and enable AI-assisted solutions, and interest in using AI tools in your own work
- Ability to translate complex technical solutions into language that business stakeholders understand, and to develop shared practices and identify new opportunities for improving clients’ businesses
