The technology, strategy, and design company Solita is updating its management model and management team in January 2020.
In future, Solita will do its business under three business areas: Finland, Sweden, and other international markets. The business units will focus on software development (Development), cloud and integration services (Cloud & Connectivity), design and strategy services (Design & Strategy), and data solutions (Data).
Jari Niska will continue as the President and CEO of Solita Group. The new Solita Group management team will include Ossi Lindroos (Executive Vice President, Finland), Pekka Ahola (Executive Vice President, Sweden), Peter Barkman (Executive Vice President, International Expansion & CMO), Esa Rauhala (Chief HR Officer), Mikko Varhe (Chief Financial Officer), and Simo Paasi (Chief Operating Officer).
The new head of Finnish business operations, Ossi Lindroos, has previously been in charge of Solita’s international expansion. The Swedish business operations will be directed by Pekka Ahola, who has previously overseen the company’s Data and Cloud & Connectivity units. Other international markets and marketing will be the responsibility of Peter Barkman, who, in addition to marketing, has managed Solita’s private sector business in Finland.
“We wish to ensure that our decisions are made close to the people and customers, even as we continue to grow and expand internationally. Our updated structure will also increase the scalability, transparency, and clarity of our business,” says Jari Niska.
Solita employs more than 1,000 digital business specialists in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Estonia, Germany and Belgium.
