The digital business consulting company Solita continues its internationalisation by opening a new office in Tallinn. The new unit will at first function as an expertise centre for Finnish and Scandinavian customers. At the moment, Solita is especially recruiting data experts and software developers to work in Tallinn.
Solita Oü opens its doors in the centre of Tallinn in November, under the leadership of Märt Ridala. Solita’s new and cosy office in Tallinn is located in the centre of the city near the old town and the shopping centre Viru Keskus.
“We have continued to grow well this year, and it’s great to have top specialists join our growing team in Estonia and Sweden too. We become international through organic growth on our customers’ terms and in line with our people-centred corporate culture,” says Solita’s CEO Jari Niska.
“Tallinn has top-class professionals and an active and international IT community. It’s great to be contributing to Solita’s growth also in Estonia. Solita’s warm and flexible corporate culture and growth have been received very positively on this side of the Gulf of Finland as well,” says director Märt Ridala who is now in charge of Solita’s operations in Tallinn.
Ridala started in his new position in October. He has held many managerial positions in the field of ICT, and worked, for instance, for Telia as the head of its Lean Startups product development team for Finland, Sweden and Estonia. He has also worked as a start-up entrepreneur.
At the moment, Solita is especially looking for cloud technology, data, software development and information security experts in Tallinn. In January, Solita also starts a training programme on artificial intelligence (AI) for software developers, who can apply and attend the programme also from Tallinn and Stockholm. The aim is to find experienced software developers and architects who want to learn alongside their work how to use technologies and tools related to machine learning and artificial intelligence that will be needed in the future. See all our open positions.
Internationalisation progresses
Solita opened its first international office in Stockholm, Sweden, in January. Solita’s international customers include, for instance, Assa Abloy, Atria, Ensto, Fazer, Finnair, Fortum and Metso.
Solita employs more than 650 digital business experts from service designers and lean start up experts to software developers, business intelligence and data science specialists, as well as cloud and integration solution experts.
