This is Mogens, our Sales Director & Business Advisor, passionate golfer and a curious learner.

I combine business understanding to tech know-how

I’ve teamed up with Solita quite recently as a Freelance Director and Advisor. Solita and I have several common interests, and we can supplement each other in many areas. I believe our collaboration can help the local office here in Denmark to grow and develop.

I have a strong background in finance and banking sector, and my job is to find ways to develop Solita’s offerings for this industry. I know from experience that there is a lot more that banks could do to leverage the data they have. Combining business understanding and advanced tech knowledge, we could help the companies in the industry to do better business by enhancing, for example, their customer experience.

Advanced data solutions can improve the overall reputation of the client

What inspires me in my line of work is to see that companies take advantage of the possibilities in front of them. And it boils down to leveraging the data they have: having tools to access it, understanding how to use it and making smarter decisions based on the information they can extract from it.

The finance sector is often seen as bureaucratic and burdened with a lot of rules and regulations. That makes it more distant from the people that it’s supposed to serve. Customer service can be poor and ways of working out-dated. But there is a huge potential here. With a holistic business approach, we can return the focus to the customer. We can improve the customer experience by developing advanced data solutions.

By optimising processes and developing better data strategies, we can create more proactive banks that become like trusted partners for their customers. Better use of data can improve risk management capabilities by preventing them to miss critical information. All this can have a tremendous positive impact on the company’s reputation, not to mention the business effects.

I like the can-do attitude and curiosity at Solita

I see many growth opportunities for Solita here in Denmark, as we are just at the beginning of our journey. Already Solita has managed to create some great business cases with their integration and cloud solutions.

Although I’m a quite new addition to the team, I’ve been in touch with several solitans across different markets. It’s a really interesting company, kind of like an organism, that is expanding and evolving all the time. I can see a can-do attitude combined with curiosity; important elements that are striving the company forward.

I’ve also felt that Solita has a very open culture and warm atmosphere. The collaboration seems to be somewhat effortless; people help each other and reach out when they need support. Solitans are hungry for learning and very open to new opportunities and approaches. There is a lot of energy within the company, and a huge potential to do more great things.
