This is Linda, our Business Process Management Consultant, yoga practitioner and traveller.
I want to make my clients’ lives easier
I’m working as a Business Process Management Consultant at the Danish office in Copenhagen. In contrast to my technically oriented colleagues, I’m more people-focused as my background is in HR-IT, and I studied business psychology.
I work with Danish clients by providing support and solutions in managing their processes. Big companies have lots of processes, and they need to document and manage them somewhere. In the case of my clients, the tool for this is called ARIS. My job is to make sure that ARIS is running smoothly to support my client in their day-to-day work.
I recently did a big upgrade project for one of my main clients here in Denmark, and the impact of those kinds of projects can be huge. We upgraded the whole tool, and the client took a big leap in their process management. If I can solve their issues and help in building a smoothly running system, it makes their lives easier. As a result, the client can save time, energy and money.
I also like the fact that the work I do is so versatile, I can work with many different tasks and a variety of clients. New things are coming up every day, and my learning curve is still quite steep, so my days are never boring.
Cool team dynamics makes me happy at work
If I think about my day to day work, my team plays an important role. I’m a German myself, and I moved to Copenhagen a year ago when I started this job. It’s a small group of us, but we work so well together, and the team has been very welcoming. We are all flexible, and we have a lot of freedom in our work. I think we have a really cool team dynamics, we trust each other and share many same values.
We also go kayaking together during the summertime. Our office is close to the sea, and we have kayaks at the office. If the weather is good, we can go out spontaneously in the morning before work and spend some time together in nature. It’s a lovely way to start the day.
I can be myself at work
If I think about the culture at Solita, it’s easier for me to describe the Danish context, as we’ve only been part of Solita since November 2019. People are very open-minded and straight forward. There is a will to improve, provide new solutions and grow together. I also think we can be more successful when we can be authentic and felt from day one that I can be myself at the office. I think most of these things also apply in the bigger context at Solita.
We had a big Kick-Off meeting in January this year for the whole Solita team in Helsinki. It was very eye-opening to meet all the people across the company and get to know co-workers from different countries. I also like working in an international environment and enjoy intercultural collaboration. We work together quite often with our co-workers from other countries. It’s quite cool that Solita is growing internationally as it provides new opportunities to learn and grow.
Linda Moll is a Business Process Management Consultant who works at Solita’s Danish Community. The Community joined Solita’s workforce in November 2019 when Solita and Ferrologic formed a North European leader in data-driven digital transformation.
