Solita achieved profitable growth in 2009, growth forecast for 2010 is positive

IT service company Solita’s financial year 2009 was marked by profitable growth. The turnover was 13.5 million euros with a 7% growth from 2008. Also the company’s personnel was increased by 6% from 2008. At the end of 2009, 148 people were working for Solita.
“We are very pleased that we were able to achieve profitable growth in 2009. Because of the recession, the market situation was challenging, but we were successful in working with customers and able to strengthen our market position. We gained new clientele and it was a record year in the number of business deals. Last year’s successful work has born fruit also for the start of 2010 and sales are doing well. Our skilful personnel deserve thanks for the year’s success,” says Solita’s CEO Jari Niska.
The outlook for 2010 is very positive. From January to March the company has already recruited 20 people. Mr. Niska emphasizes strong expertise and motivated personnel as central factors for success.
“The start of the year has been very positive. We won significant deals at the start, which shows as a strong project base. Especially Business Intelligence and software solutions have generated extensive projects for us. I believe that growth can be expected this year also in our other business areas, in integration and data search solutions,” Jari Niska says.
