Kristina Illi, M.Sc. (Econ.), has been invited to the board of directors of IT service provider Solita starting from November 9th 2009. Kristina Illi has acquired an extensive career in demanding positions in management and business development. Ms Illi’s latest position was Managing Director at joint-stock company Tiimari. Prior to that, she worked as CEO at Hansel, the central procurement unit of the Finnish Government, and in various management positions in the S-Group.
“We wanted to strengthen Solita’s board further with a new experienced member. Kristina Illi’s long and versatile experience in demanding management and development duties in Finland and internationally in various business areas will give a new boost to Solita’s growth and success. Ms Illi will bring plenty of new vision and know-how to our board, especially in strategy and business development, and due to her years of working in business areas that are central for our clientele, certainly also strengthens the customer point of view,” says Heikki Halme, Chairman of the Solita Board.
