Solita and Hansel enter framework agreement for technical consulting

25.9.2007

Demanding information system solution and IT specialist service dedicated Solita and Hansel Oy, responsible for the competitive tendering for public procurement, have signed a framework agreement for technical IT consulting. The agreement includes the fields of project management, specification, planning and programming.

”For Solita, the agreement in these areas is significant, as they cover our central field of expertise, that is, all areas of software development from planning to implementation. We have already implemented demanding software projects for governmental customers. This agreement provides a possibility to extend the cooperation and facilitate the public procurement of information system solutions and specialist services,” says CEO Heikki Halme from Solita.

Hansel arranges competitive tendering processes and maintains framework agreements of services and products for its customers, which include procurement departments of public administration, such as ministries and ministerial offices, public utilities, governmental funds and the state’s other procurement units. The framework agreement for technical consulting provides Hansel’s customers with the most competitive services for the technical implementation and development of applications and information systems.

”In the framework agreement, Hansel seeks to ensure its customers the best possible services and good correlations between price and quality. Contractors selected for the framework agreement were evaluated on the basis of their expert experience and know-how and coverage of service as well as on the basis of their prices,” says Sasu Laitinen, Hansel’s Development Manager.
