History

Solita was established by Heikki Halme in 1996. The company operated under the name Sensor Software Consulting until 2003, and initially focused on JAVA-based software solutions and products. The company’s core competency was high-quality software projects, with growth based on meeting the needs of a satisfied customer base.

In 2002, the company began to develop Business Intelligence solutions. Soon afterwards, portals and integration services were also included in the company’s offering. Today Solita delivers critical BI and integration solutions to a wide range of companies and organisations in Finland and abroad.

Solita has always been a profitable and fast-growing company. In 2008 the company’s turnover was  € 12.7mil (to be confirmed), and it currently employs 150 professionals. Solita continues to invest in proactive quality, the development of competencies and processes, and the use of new technologies and methods.
